Right. Ridiculous question really, but if you could choose one song that says ‘Rebellious Jukebox Post-Punk Plus’ to you, what would it be…?
I’ll kick it off with a superb cover version! The funkiest drumming! Trumpets! Scratchy guitars! 8th Army shorts! 1930s haircuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Wythenshawe’s finest, the original cool as Mancs: the punk-funk of A Certain Ratio and one of my faves by them, ‘Shack Up’.
(I could easily play 50 other tunes…)
